Attic Find: Rare 1930s & ’40s Baseball Card Collection
More than 600 baseball cards from the 1930’s and ’40s are sold at auction, including Hall of Famers Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio and Dizzy Dean.
The cigar box treasures, found in a Northeast Ohio attic, include 200 of the 233 card set of the fabled 1933 Goudy set, Batter Up, Diamond Stars, and Play Ball.
